You can need to wait a few weeks for non urgent appointment booking using the app. However, when I needed a more urgent appointment recently for my son, I was offered one the same or within a couple of days when I rang up.

I had an appointment at 12.00 noon. On arrival the door was locked. I was eventually let in at 12.05pm. There were old and frail people had to stand out in the cold. When I was eventually let in and tried to book in the receptionist told me that I was a week early although I had a reminder on my phone, and my wife had an appointment at the same time was told that she didn't have an appointment booked, where she got a reminder like I did.

The appointments could be better entered on the computer, if the receptionist is having problems with the computer l suggest retraining. There was a very long queue behind me and I was made to feel very small but saying that I was only a patient.

I was at the surgery for my routine blood tests and the care I received from the nurse was excellent. [name removed] was very caring, very calming and very professional.
