It takes up to a week for an electronic prescription to be passed to the chemist as I'm told by the receptionist that they wait for the pot to fill up (what pot)? then they are authorised by the doctor and sent over to the chemist.Then you find items missing where they have been taken off your prescription request and you are told that you must see a doctor for a medical review. When you do eventually have an appointment you go through the mill asking why you need them! Well I can tell them why, because of my ailments, that's why I need them. Last Thursday (29th March 2018) I was given a prescription of an ear infection but the toner had run dry so the prescription could not be printed for me to take to the chemist. They were running around looking for a new one but apparently there wasn't any so I was told that it would be signed off and be sent to the chemist the same afternoon. This morning (Easter Saturday 31st) I went to collect my prescription and unsurprisingly it hasn't been sent, so no antibiotic ear spray! The chemist told me this morning that she is not surprised as there are hardly any doctors working over there now. This is criminal! It will now be Tuesday before this completely useless incompetent surgery can issue my prescription. Perhaps it will take a further seven days before I get it, who knows?

Terrible service. I requested an appointment via the online system but did not get a response. So I phoned. Waited on the phone for 50 minutes. I was 2nd in the queue and at 6:30 (when surgery shut) I was cut off. And they have the cheek to state on their website that they are a friendly caring service. Laughable!!!

I arrived at the surgery yesterday for my 8.50am appointment (my daughter also had an 8.50am appointment and was seen almost on time). At about 9.30 I asked the receptionist when it was likely I would be seen and she said that the Dr had not come in yet, but was still waiting for him! I asked her why she had not informed patients of this with no response. I also asked if he had a mobile phone and she could either ring him or vice versa! I went back at 9.45 and asked again and she said I would see another Dr and I was next. I was finally seen at 10.10am, 1hr and 20 minutes after my booked appointment and 25 minutes after being told I was next It may be a good idea to train your receptionists properly, as although polite, didn't know what to do. I have been with the surgery for almost 30 years and it has gone completely downhill. Dr Barrett was the best Dr ever at the surgery. I only come to the surgery when absolutely necessary!

Booked a 10am appointment as there were no early or late appointments for weeks. Arrived at 9.50am and checked in on the screen, I am used to waiting way after my appointment time but at 10.30 checked with reception how long I would have to wait as I needed to get back to work. Was informed very matter of fact that the screen hadn't registered my appointment correctly and I could wait till the end of surgery and see the doctor then. Needlessly to say I didn't bother and it has confirmed to me why I don't bother going to the doctors. I'll put up with my problem and self diagnose, its less stressful.

I booked an 8:10 appointment with a GP and when I got here I was told that he was at a different surgery. Was told to wait for a walk in appointment and that a doctor would see me after 9. Two hours later I still have not been seen. I'm met with ostile behaviour at reception and told pretty much take it or leave it! I've made a formal complaint
