I’ve had an appointment today and I wanted to leave some positive feedback about my experience. Everything was running smoothly when I arrived. Nurse Wren is easy to talk to and is always very helpful. The receptionist was also friendly and helpful when I spoke to her. I would recommend the practice to my friends and family.

I am extremely grateful, for the excellent service and treatment that both my children have received at Buxton Medical Practice over the past couple of months. Unfortunately, my children have been hit with several infections and viruses over the winter months and everytime I have contacted the practice, I have received excellent service. Dr Haddon, who has seen my children on all occasions has been extremely professional, helpful and considerate. Also the nurses that have dealt with my enquiries have been wonderful. The time frame from phoning the surgery to obtaining advice or an appointment and prescription was extremely fast and I can't recommend the practice and practioners enough!

These lovely folk are always polite and helpful. We need more folk like these in the world! My GP has a no nonsense but empathetic approach which I love, he has never steered me wrong and I think he's fabulous.

I'm not able to think of any improvements. Buxton Medical Practice is simply the best.

Please share this with all doctors, nurses and staff. I attended your surgery on Friday 22nd for vaccination. Your organisation and "bedside manner" was fantastic. World class has been grossly over used nationally during this pandemic but there is no other way of describing my experience. Yours is not my practice but I am proud of you. Alan Thompson

Can be a long wait for appointments but there is a telephone triage service that can sometimes speed things up.

Generally everything is great and the only bug bear is the time to get an appointment but it is understood they are very busy. All the staff - doctors, nurses, office - very helpful and friendly and I have always found the treatment and check ups to be of a very high standard
