I have been able to get appointments when I need them, and find the early morning and evening appointments great to fit in with work. The care I have received has been excellent.

The online access is great to order repeat prescriptions. However the availability of appointments are poor and you cant get to see the same doctor so no continuity of care. Maybe have appointments available daily for patients to ring on day instead of just the triage appointments. Also the triage system could be improved as they dont always call you back which means numerous calls to the surgery

I have always been very well looked after by the doctors and nurses at Burncross Surgery. The illnesses and the treatment options are always explained fully so I know exactly what is going on. I have every confidence in their advice. The only problem is getting an appointment with my preferred doctor who knows the history of my long term conditions without having to trawl the computer screens. Making an appointment is easier now using on line booking as sometimes the phone is not answered for ages. However, the appointments offered on line are usually not with my choice of GP or soon enough. Need Nurse Clinic appointments on there too.

Doctors Surgery is always clean, the booking efficiency is always interesting although the receptionists and nurses are always polite and pleasant.Any lack of efficiency may not be their fault. Appointment times are too long especially to see certain nurses, general Doctors Appointments can take nearly a week if there is a weekend involved. They are better for appointments for children, especially the younger they are.
