As a frequent visitor to the surgery for a family member I need to give praise to the staff at Burncross Surgery. I find that if they can help they will and are polite and professional. Not enough credit is given to staff working in the reception and people should take a step back and imagine what goes on behind the scenes and all the hard work that goes on every day to keep the surgery operating to give the community health support. The NHS is not free or a a God given right - some need to remember this when they are verbally attacking staff as I have heard a lot in recent times. The doctors and nurses I have seen give good service and advice, we are lucky in this country to have NHS and all the health services , so please think about this next time you are standing in the queue or have to wait on the phone a while. The service is far better than not having any health service at all and if it all goes think how you will feel then having to pay per visit or operation or for medication- well done Burncross Surgery keep it up!
