Rang this morning several times to make an appointment for my partner who has been feeling very low. Finally got through just after nine. The receptionist told me to there were no appointments today so I’d have to ring back tomorrow. I explained I’d tried several times to get through and He really only wanted a repeat prescription of tablets he’d previously taken if that made things easier. She just kept saying he’d have to see the doctor and there were no more appointments today. I feel so disappointed in her cold and uncaring approach. I was left feeling so frustrated at what just happened, with nowhere to turn and my partner sinking further. Let’s hope I have better luck tomorrow getting through!!

The receptionist is clearly not a people’s person. She showed no interest, compassion or understanding. She could have at least shown some empathy in such a delicate frigile situation. Something you could do better would be to give that receptionist another job more suitable to her.

Myself and my family joined this surgery a few months ago. Since we joined I have to say "what an amazing team". From the receptionists to the Doctors and practice nurse. Lovely receptionists that are so helpful. First class service from appointment request to GP visit. Best ever surgery.

Recently transferred to this surgery due to shocking support from the previous. Very smooth transition. No hassle. Curtious and accommodating receptionists. Bryn Darland has a great reputation and even though I joined recently I can see why. They solved a problem in one phone call that I had been trying to get sorted for months. Totally blown away.
