Whenever I call the surgery, I always get through in a good amount of time. receptionist are always very helpful and do their best to get me an appointment or at least get a message to my doctor.
Always see the same doctor unless he is on holiday, which a lot of people don't see as normal.
I know not everyone has the same experience, but I honestly cant fault this doctors surgery.
I requested medication online. After 3 working days nothing had happened. I called the surgery as anxious about inhaler running low. I was on the telephone for 18 minutes being told I was caller number one. I was then cut off with no one answering the phone at the point when the surgery was closed.
Two weeks now I have been in some sort of pain- bypassed the GP surgery at first and went to the minor injuries at Herne bay who were as helpful as they could be considering my ailment.
I have begged, pleaded and cried to see my GP as what I am being told is wrong with me over the phone is not the case and I am just being fobbed with every phone call-visit to the reception.
I am not usually an `ill' person, I know my own body and would just like to see my GP face to face. Not possible apparently unless I want to wait a month.
Appalling surgery, do NOT recommend- used to be great but Covid seems to have put pay to that (still mentioned on the long, drawn out voice message you get when calling in)
No appointment for 9 weeks. Prescribed 3 different things without being given an appointment none of the 3 worked. Pharmacies NHS111 and walk I'm centres all said I need to be seen by a GP yet nobody at the surgery will give me an appointment. Sent ab email to the practice manager and promised a reply which never came. Useless surgery, dangerous practice and ignorant management. Requires a major amount of improvement before they cause serious harm or worse to their patients.
I had a an asthma review with Mr Coman and together we discussed in a very professional and unhurried way how I was controlling my asthma. As a result of the simple advice that I was given my asthma is now in control and I have not had to use salbutamol since. I feel so much better and I only have praise for Mr Coman 's professional advice and manner.
I also had problems in gaining the results of a blood test (routine) that had been ordered by the hospital. As a result i asked the surgery to intervene and within a day or two they had got the results that I had waited a month for.
I have been contacted by the reception staff on a number of occasions and they have always been considerate and helpful.
Furthermore when I forgot to take a mask I was readily supplied with one at reception.
Finally I have been with this practice for eight years now and I have never had a problem getting through, getting advice or test results, moreover, prescriptions via the patient access app have generally taken less than two days to be available.
I feel fortunate to be a patient at this practice and to have Dr Qureshi as my GP.
