Dr Obiabo, took over my care from Dr Rae.
I cannot fault either Doctor, but I have to say “Team Obiabo” is fabulous. He keeps a strict eye on my medication, as you would expect; but he is hilariously funny, whilst mixing serious consultations with lighter but informative chat.
Well done to everyone at this surgery, for Listening, Caring and each of you having a cheerful demeanour. I’m leaving Brandon soon, so my next GP practice in Somerset have got a lot to live up to.
If at all possible I make my appointment with Dr Obiabo. He is an amazing doctor and I always feel better just for seeing him. He prescribed medication to make me feel better at the time but also always wants to understand the route of the issue as well. With all of my health issues recently he has found out the problem and found a way to stop the same issues arising rather than just stopping symptoms for a short period of time. I always recommend Dr Obiabo to friends and family and am always disappointed if I have to see another doctor.
Reception staff are very helpful (within the constraints exerted by the GP's)
Communication from GP's through reception to patients is poor to nonexistent.
Surgery systems and facilities seem a bit mid 20th centuary.
The staff are always efficient and helpful.
It can sometimes be difficult to get an appointment .
Friendly and helpful practice. If I don't mind which Dr I see I can always get appointments. Dr Benke has a waiting time, but I don't mind who I see.
