I explained about my cough and my hay fever on the phone. I was then given an appointment. When I got to the appointment the nurse did not know what I was there for, assumed HF was heart failure and not hay fever, and I had to answer the same questions all over. The nurse was, I thought, quite abrupt, not particularly nice mannered and did not even try to answer questions about where prescriptions should go and how long they might take. Very strange and off putting really. There’s no need to be nasty about it, just say you don’t know.

See above, if I answer a bunch of questions over the phone give the answers to the person who sees me. And there’s no need to be miserable and abrupt, be nicer.
