Terrible high turnaround of GP partners & salaried GP's. Dr's/the admin team do not actively chase test results leaving patients in limbo. This surgery is barely scratching the surface leaving patient care compromised.
I am fed up with the inadequate service offered by this surgery.
Can't get face to face appointments
Reception staff ask lots of personal questions about what is wrong with you, they have no right to do this.
All my allocated Doctor does is spend an inordinate amount of time looking for ways to take me off my medication to save the surgery money, never mind that last time she did this I had palpitations and nearly had a heart attack (I kid you not!).
NHS sent me a message to book a Covid booster (on behalf of the surgery). When I tried to book for the jab, a message came up on my screen saying there were no available slots. The surgery says on their website don't contact them about Covid, so you are left with the dilemma of what to do about not being able to book up for a booster.
I am heartily sick of this service that I contributed to via my taxes for 35 years.
The nurses and a few doctors are good but if you require medical care for a condition or want a prognosis on a developing condition go elsewhere
As a carer for 6 years and now a pensioner, I would recommend this surgery to anyone. The reception staff go beyond to help and have managed to fit me into slots with a doctor and/or nurse on the same day. It might have been with a new doctor but they are more than able to deal with issues. I have found all staff to be extremely pleasant and efficient. If you treat people with respect they will normally respond in a positive manner. They are obviously time constrained, but consider this——— 140 missed appointments in November! Without this the service could be even better. Keep up the good work. Thank you.
The only thing I like about this surgery is Dr Newby and he left to go to another practice and Dr Caroline Ali and she is leaving in a couple of months. The reception staff field the calls and tell patients (who are in the vulnerable category) that they will not be prescribed antibiotics for a cold. Everything is an argument - an argument to get an appointment, an argument about getting a referral - an argument about what Dr you are allocated etc etc
I would not recommend this medical practice to anyone.
