When I called at 8.36 I was number 56 in the queue 23 mins later on hold I was told that there were no more appointments unless emergency. Call the following day and call 8.30 on the dot and managed to get in the queue at 34, when I finally got though I was told they are closed for half day. Called back the 3rd day and got though to number 48 in queue and still no appointment, no additional resources put in to pick up the slack. I managed to get a telephone appointment. i tried to book a future appointment and I was told the diary only up to 2 weeks and there was no slots left. No choice but to join the 8.30 rush and hope there is enough staff. I imagine this is why a&e is full. not enough resources either at local level or higher up, the building is big enough for more GPS and nurses but never able to get appointment.
