I am unable to comment on the above query's, my main concern here today to voice my opinion in hope that it may alert you to those people who may struggle like myself with communication and access to GP'S because of a list of the following reasons that have struck me. I have chronic disabilitating pain in different areas of my body, stuck in a inapproprate 2nd floor flat I cant leave due to pain, for hiding from an abusive ex and fearing abusive neighbours, who sometimes steal letters and parcels and or others. I do not have a disable badge or an income so getting to the GP or hospital is more that then just pain relief or avoiding abusive neighbours, it an attempt to find a way to get there without the difficult financial cost or the ability to park near and avoid further pain physical or mental. Without a phone the only access I have is email however the GP service doe not seem to allow for this, this prohibits any chance of contact for me when I have the sparse, ability to ask for help, which is infrequent, I am one who often suffers in silence, I fear there must be many others in the same or worse positions who are forgotten until its too far gone or too late. I can know see how many must get left behind and suffer severely due to their mental, financial and physical health aiding their inability to make contact. On top of this I experience a lack of privacy upon prior visits, having to have my full name on display and say my DOB and provide my address gives others within ear shot too much information that has on too many occasions led to unwanted harrassment from men. I would very much like this type information not to be exposed for so many personal and safety reasons, only those I have to tell my name and other information to do I want to have access to it. not others into fooling me that they know me, or that I told them, or those that tell others it because they hear it by chance, or seek me out on the road I live on. Maybe a number system instead of a name would be a safer option for all. This has lower risk and preserves the safety and security of everyone alike, personal security reasons it would be more appropriate ( in my personal opinion), to change this system. If a service is truly meant for all then it should be and feel safe and accessible for the weakest when they are alone and truly a their weakest, or in their one moment of strength when ever that time may come, adding emails to the list of other communication will incorporate more people that not. I hope my suggestions opens conversations, are considered and if utilised helps many others. Thank you for your time.
