Doctor (Martin) pays attention and listens and gives very good advice.
Staff are nice, receptionists are helpful. Everything's done for you.
Anytime I needed care or support. It was there, and I usually get appointments when I need one. Getting "to talk to someone about my cardiac issues can take some time.
We lived in Birchington for 5 years from January 2011 and during that time, we have seen improvements in the BMC, which did go through a difficult period during that time.
We have seen Dr Finlay and are very satisfed with his approach and care.
We find the nurses very pleasant and efficient to deal with.
It can be difficullt to get through on the phone sometimes but we are aware that this is improving due to steps taken by the new practice manager, Hannah Price.
The receptionists are generally helpful and polite, particularly if you treat them with respect and courtesy.
We think the time to get an appointment with a named Doctor can be excessive but appreciate that emergencies are dealt with much more quickly.
The online system of requesting repeat presciptions is very good and works well.
Overall. we rate the BMC as a good and improving practice and hope that our next one in Oxfordshire will be as good.
