I appreciate resources are stretched, but the next 'routine' appointment was said to be the week commencing 29th August - that is 19 days time.
I have found the reception staff quite abrupt and rude at times . Recently I visited the reception area and the staff member was more interested in chatting with a colleague rather than acknowledging a waiting patient .( their conversation was not work related )
I saw one of the nurses, Ellie, who was great. She explained what she was going to do, how long it would take and put me at ease with her calm and efficient manner. After completing my ECG she offered and arranged all the follow-up appointments saving me a lot of hassle; she tried hard to find an appointment date and time that would fit in with me and nothing seemed too much trouble. Thank you!
On Friday afternoon my wife had a problem requiring medication before the weekend. I have to thank all the staff involved in my request for the medication, from the Telephonist, Receptionists through to Dr Martin for issuing the medication. It was a pleasure to deal with everyone. Many thanks to everyone.
I handed in some papers from an insurance company due to an injury in my wrist. I did this in January. It is now June and the papers are still not filled out and returned to the insurance company. And today I found out that some other papers that was sent to the medical centre in February are simply lost by them?! It is simply ridiculous..
