I requested medication (co-codamol ) for pain following a recent hip replacement and as I was traveling to Ireland as a sibling was gravely ill. I had requested two further items which I duly collected three days later but the co-codamol wasn't approved. I went to Berrylands Surgery and was informed that I'd received said medication recently. I had to point out that I'd received a week's supply and not a month's. She then said she'd get the request signed that day and so it was . But sadly Dr Benton decided he'd message me to say it was ready and sarcastically added that convincing the pharmacy to dispense it before my departure was my problem. It seems the staff who present items for signing to Dr Benton are too scared of him to admit their mistakes.

Suggest to Dr Benton that he avoid showing his ignorance and treat his patients with respect and learn some professional manners.

I haven’t been at this surgery for long, but I’ve had nothing but positive experiences so far! I have been suffering with a number of mental health issues for my entire life, and this is the first time I’ve actually felt listened to, as opposed to my last GP where I was made to feel like I was overreacting, or like I was a waste of their time. Their mental health practitioner, Emma Hart, is absolutely fantastic, she was so friendly and really listened to what I had to say, I’m so appreciative! Also, facilities are very clean, lots of space and distancing, and I’ve always been seen on time.

Disgusted been trying since September to get a repeat prescription The staff are hostile rude & disrespectful . Got a telephone appointment turned out I was flustered off with a trainee, no help whatsoever. As a high risk I'm told to shield, was told if I want my precriptions would have to pay delivery which I cannot afford, why are we being told NHS is open when your treated like this. I am in pain, distress & have given up seeking any help from these people they are a disgrace

Recently (before covid 19) I went through a very challenging few months resulting in a change of address, the help & support both with my physical & mental well being by the doctors here was exceptional. I rarely ask for help but reached out & was amazed with the support. Thank you all, especially Dr W Barker.
