IThe Bentley surgery will be closing very soon in 2022. I had been seeing dr moore last 4/5 yrs on and off, and she is very attentive and showing genuine care. I had seen a different dr M over 10 yrs ago, who chuck me out pretty much after 5 mins, gave me nothing to help my illness, and overall she was really indifferent, no love and care being felt. It. Could be she had a bad morning and I came in as a patient. I’m hopeful she’s not always like this but it does take a long time for people to find the right doctor who they feel comfortable. It is sad this surgery is closing and I feel for those elderly who probably feel suicidal hearing this news. It is really difficult to find a dr you feel right and that you can trust, and we will miss dr moore for sure who has always been professional, and many more good things about her. The reception staff are superb. They are helpful, professional, polite and seem happy tin their job.

Suggested improvements
I don’t think much could be done now that the surgery is going to closed. We all received letters, I even received a letter belonging to a different patient/ resident not on my address. Scary. It is said one dr will retire and others do not want to stay. Our dr have abandoned our village; I feel for the elderly, who have no access to internet to express their concern. We are concerned but obviously, as for myself, I can only go back to my two preferred private dr or might start using my private health insurance. Not everyone has access to these and I’m saddened that Bentley will not longer have a surgery after years.
