I have been a patient of this medical practice, since I moved to Gateshead, from Newcastle, some 28 years ago. I am now 50 years old. My wife who is 8 years older than me, has been a patient of this practice, since she was born, as has my 26 year old son and 23 year old daughter. There have been some personnel changes over the years but the current staff, have been in place for a number of years now. I want to take this opportunity, to acknowledge their professionalism, their dedication to patient care and the 100% sterling service, they have provided to me and my family, over the years. Due to the nature of their service, this practice has seen me at some real low points in my life. The support, understanding and assistance, they have given me and my family, is greatly appreciated and I feel, it needs to be recognised, hence these comments. I have never felt like it has been a case of patch and despatch, or treat and street. My interactions with the Doctors, Nurses, Health Care assistant, Practice Manager and Reception Staff, has always been empathetic, sympathetic, supportive and to the highest quality of patient care, There are a number of times, they have gone above and beyond, exceeding my expectations. When it has required, further, external assistance. They have made sure I had all the relevant information and guidance. I consider them all, ambassadors to the NHS healthcare division and an asset to the Gateshead community. I will end, by saying, Katrina and the team, my sincerest thanks for being my GP practice. I sincerely, appreciate, everything you all do and I look forward to my ongoing patient care (hopefully, not too much though) and i would highly recommend your practice, to anybody who moves into the local area. Thank you again.
