I don't call for appointments very often but have always been more than satisfied with the outcome. If needed you will be seen/contacted.

Impossible to get an appointment, the phones are always busy. they never fill prescriptions on time and often cut of supplies of essential medication without warning the patient first. The receptionists are rude and often do not care at all. the doctors never see a patient face to face, everything is done over the phone, they are unable to do a proper diagnosis this way. they often take ten days or more deliver a prescription to the pharmacist, leaving people with sever autoimmune diseases without life sustaining medication

Suggested improvements
every aspect of this practice needs to be investigated by the NHS, they treat sick people with no respect. the staff do not treat people respectfully, the doctors refuse to see people face to face but are happy to make random nonintellectual diagnosis over the phone just from speaking to them for five minutes. This is really not appropriate, they refuse to send patients for essential testing which often results in misdiagnosis. The doctors must see people face to face and do investigations when the patient has a sever problem, 5 five minute phone call and a prescription and a prescription for ssri's doesn't fix someone who is complaining of hepatic failure and abdo pain. THIS NEEDS TO CHANGE! they can take up to two weeks to fill a prescription, which leaves patient with autoimmune diseases without life sustaining medication for long periods of time. They need to change this and make sure the patient gets their medication within 24 hours of ordering. They also need to notify the patient at least three weeks in advance, if they are going to make changes to or reduce the supply of all medications. Often they cut off patients supply to medication without warning, which could be fatal with many medications, or cause the patient sever problems sustaining normal function.

It is not possible to arrange appointments at the surgery, they should be booked over the phone, which is not easy a straight forward phone call, having long waiting times to speak to someone. On the other hand, the personal attention was fantastic. The GPs, Nurses and Admin staff who attended in different occasions, treated me with respect, being very caring and showing massive interest to help me.

Suggested improvements
A better communication among staff members. I had different answers about services provided, which prolonged my waiting time to be attended and to have proper actions taken to potentially solve my issue. Impossible to get an urgent appointment, receptionists act a gatekeepers preventing entry to the service rather than trying to help. When 111 arranged a same day appointment I didn't get a call back and when I called in to ask why I was told it was seen but the doctor decided not to bother (and no one cared to tell me). The only appointment I was able to book was 4 days away and then on the day it was cancelled with no explanation and no offer of another appointment unless I rang in. Calling the surgery to book an appointment means waiting in a queue for the best part of an hour. I asked to speak to the practice manager and was told I'd get a call back... still waiting for this

Suggested improvements
Make appointments easy to book (maybe have enough staff to cope with telephone demand or signpost for a way to book without calling in) Offer same day appointments Offer a new appointment when cancelling but ideally don't cancel
