I don't call for appointments very often but have always been more than satisfied with the outcome. If needed you will be seen/contacted.
Send more information young people from 16 and parents too , soon child from 16 became more respinsablity about they health , sorry my English is not great, but I try my best
Impossible to get an appointment, the phones are always busy. they never fill prescriptions on time and often cut of supplies of essential medication without warning the patient first.
The receptionists are rude and often do not care at all.
the doctors never see a patient face to face, everything is done over the phone, they are unable to do a proper diagnosis this way.
they often take ten days or more deliver a prescription to the pharmacist, leaving people with sever autoimmune diseases without life sustaining medication
It is not possible to arrange appointments at the surgery, they should be booked over the phone, which is not easy a straight forward phone call, having long waiting times to speak to someone.
On the other hand, the personal attention was fantastic. The GPs, Nurses and Admin staff who attended in different occasions, treated me with respect, being very caring and showing massive interest to help me.
Impossible to get an urgent appointment, receptionists act a gatekeepers preventing entry to the service rather than trying to help. When 111 arranged a same day appointment I didn't get a call back and when I called in to ask why I was told it was seen but the doctor decided not to bother (and no one cared to tell me). The only appointment I was able to book was 4 days away and then on the day it was cancelled with no explanation and no offer of another appointment unless I rang in. Calling the surgery to book an appointment means waiting in a queue for the best part of an hour. I asked to speak to the practice manager and was told I'd get a call back... still waiting for this
