The surgery is a joke since Dr Waggstaff left. The receptionists have always been very cold and robotic but I could put up with this for the great care you got from the doctor. However not anymore you try to get through to the surgery constantly to be told all appointments are gone for the day and it's only 8.15am.
The last time I saw a doctor his advice if you can call it that was to Google exercises and buy a support from Amazon! I should have saved the trouble and diagnosed myself online!

Since Dr Wagstaff left this practice it has gone way down.
No Doctors/no appointments. A GP surgery which only have 2 GPs twice a week??
It is unfortunate that patients will be moving to other practices where patients health is more of a priority.
Medication/prescriptions wrong /missing tablets.
No Mr Ahmed is not a consultant merely a nurse who can prescribe!
This GP practice needs to get some GPs ASAP!

The surgery was taken over last year and services reduced, with a GP only being on site Monday and Tuesdays, with a prescribing pharmacist covering for the other three days and totally out of his depth. This means a lack of available appointments to see a doctor and greater pressure on the nurse and nurse practitioner. Whilst the reception staff are pleasant, they’re poorly managed as is the practice in general, for the last 12 months they’ve got my wife’s repeat prescription wrong every time, which is unacceptable.

The service at Barnburgh surgery has gone downhill in the last 18 months, I'm assuming that since Dr Wagstaff left the management can't cope.
