I am a Glaucoma patient totally dependant on eye drop medication. My Consultant(Mr Fook Chang Lam) changed my medication on 3rd March 2020 and duly requested Dr Farrer to implement the change.Unfortunately the detail of the respective medications was incorrect.Having discussed this with Mr Lam he promptly issued an amended request to Dr Farrer.Realising this situation could easily become confusing I took the responsibility to act sooner rather than later and decided to notify the Surgery in person through consultation with the duty receptionist, who I later discovered was Gemma Early,Assistant Practice Manager. Gemma demonstrated an impeccable aptitude to immediately grasp my concerns and promptly implemented the appropriate action to ensure the revised medications as requested by Mr Lam were presented to the GP's via the appropriate Practice procedures.Gemmas' charisma and interpersonal skills filled me with total confidence such that I was able to leave the Surgery reassured my correct medications were immediately available to me. I hope this feed back is presented to Gemma. Thank you Robert Tilbury
