With regard to the experience I had with a recent repeat prescription being denied due to an error by staff misreading when I last had the medication dispensed I have a suggestion to make. When the prescription is denied for what ever reason I would suggest you contact the patient as soon as possible to explain the situation so it can be discussed. In my case it was five days before I discovered what had occurred when I went to the pharmacy to collect my tablets to be told that they had never received the prescription.
