One way I feel they could increase patient satisfaction, especially on mornings, w that telephone calls are answered within three rings. This can be achieved by assigning two staff to simply answer the telephones, for a period of 30 minutes to one hour. Some of the doctors can, at times, give the impression of arrogance. Someone was once told - on saying that they were depressed and had no appetite - "you're carrying enough weight to keep you going for a good while". Not helpful!
