I've been a patient here for the last 4 years along with my husband. My experience has always been very good. The doctors are very professional and extremely thorough. I need to especially mention Dr Hughes here, who has been brilliant. Every time I or my husband have had a health issue, each of the Dr's whether Dr Hughes, Dr Ruth Smith or Dr Morrison have taken the time to thoroughly discuss the symptoms and possible remedies. Yes, it is difficult to get through in the mornings but that is understandable. The reception staff try their utmost to help as much as they can.

At over seventy and having moved and lived in England/Australia and had many health issues and experience off quite a few surgeries I can say without doubt this surgery and staff are by far the best!!! ...yes its hard to get through sometimes early morning BUT other folk are sick too! ...so I have to give 100% credit to BALLYWALTER health centre...and a massive THANK YOU to them for the way they serve the community,....

when I checked in for my appointment I was told the nurse was running 13mins late, that's annoying but predictable, however I waited over 40mins for a my appointment with the nurse and there was still two patients to be seen. Apparently my time is deemed unimportant as I can only imagine the reaction if I was well over 40mins late to see a doctor or nurse! obviously this surgery is grossly understaffed! Sort yourselves out!

If You have a complaint against the health service please read on!! I have been attending ballywalter Health Centre for over 7 years and I have not had cause to think twice about the attention I receive when I need to see a Doctor, nurse or receptionist. They are all thoroughly professional and are either supermen or women given the area that they cover or those that complain about the health service are not living is the same country as me. In short, Ballywalter Health Centre is superb in every way

It is extremely difficult to get through on the phone in the mornings and usually the doctor phone back appointments are full when you do finally get through. Seriously considering moving surgery.
