Just been back into this surgery to see if the poor service my Partner is getting on the phone is the same in person. I can confirm it is. She has been trying to get an issue fixed for almost 3 years now and is still at the same point she was in the first time she called. The staff are rude and useless.
I walked around to see if I could get any better results from calling there in person and to see if the shoddy service she was given by phone was just poor phone etiquette. I had a paper and pen and posed as someone wanting info and after 5 minutes of waiting at the front desk (nobody anywhere to be seen) then being talked down to and rushed because a queue had formed, it became clear how inept they were. Especially as all the things they recommend i do for qn appontment are the same things we have tried and failed at getting to work. I kept the receptionist talking about nonsense and wrote nothing down atall, even got her to the point where she was getting annoyed that she couldn't get rid of me. I talked about closures of our surgery in our last town and really felt her getting frustrated. Which was great, because now she could experience a small % of what we have had to put up with for the last few years. What a disgrace to the NHS. Bring on privatisation, I would rather pay for medical care than have nothing for free.
