Going the Extra Mile: The surgery serves a huge population and delivers a great service. Yesterday, I called up to try and get an on-the-day appointment for my little boy. I had left it way too late in the morning, so there were no appointments left. However, to my surprise, I got a call back half an hour later offering me a cancellation slot for the afternoon. I was so impressed with the reception staff going the extra mile for us! Even though it was an afternoon appointment, there was no delay and we were seen bang on time. The doctor was very thorough and really listened. Five stars all round.

Never really had any trouble with staff at Audley Mills, most of the receptionists are very helpful and nice, I have only had one that wasn't, she was a bit abrupt on the phone, I have found the nurses are excellent too.

Have been a patient here for 48 years. I am sad that it is always difficult to get an appointment for the same doctor even if I get to the surgery at 7 am. I am worried how we are going to manage as we get older and getting out becomes more difficult especially in the bad weather. I also get very upset when the receptionists feel that my problem does not need an appointment. I have been around since the beginning of the NHS and am extremely concerned about the future.

The practice is a very good practice, there are many doctors there who are all caring and helpfel .At times it is frustrating when trying to get an appointment at the last minute but using the online appointment system is good for when you dont have anything urgent.

It can be very difficult to arrange an appointment by phone, but if you live nearby you can go in from 7am for same day appointments. I find the easiest way to book appointments for the same day is online, since signing up i have had no problem in choosing an appointment that suits me. When i have phoned, the receptionists are helpful and friendly. I have seen more than one of the Doctors at Audley Mills and they have all listened to my problems and asked for my input in the treatment they wish to use, i've never felt rushed or ignored. This surgery provides a great service.
