Today I called the Surgery at 8.01am, as this is required to get an appointment. My sick note finished today, and the doctor advised to ring just before the end to give me a new one.
The receptionist told me that the Doctor would ring me back, although I was asking for an appointment.
I was waiting for eight and a half hours for a call back, not even going out to concentrate on the importance of the call. At 4.30pm I rang the Surgery again to find out that the morning receptionist have not recorded a request for a phone consultation.
Now I have to go to work on Sunday as I have no new sick leave note and face a collapse at work.
