I am fed up hearing people moan about Ashfield medical centre.i have only ever had good experiences with the reception staff,nurses and doctors.i hadn’t been to the doctors for over 15 years until 2 years ago when I just went for holiday vaccinations & while there the nurse gave me a blood pressure test that was very high.The nurse told me straight away I needed to see a doctor and gave ma an appointment for 2 hours later. I hen had weekly appointments at times that’s suited me until they were happy I was ok.in that time I saw many patients getting angry with reception because they couldn’t have what they wanted.If patients showed More respect And politeness I sure it would help everyone. last year my mum has to come and live with us coming up from Watford I registered her at Ashfield who gave her appointments without a fuss & cared for her.Having returned from Spain Wednesday & now in quarantine I phoned reception to say I will run out of my tablets tomorrow & asked for help as it was my fault the lovely lady on reception said leave it with her and she would do her best to have them delivered to me. I was pleasantly surprised when they were delivered at 7pm That is Ashfields going above & beyond there duty Many thanks for helping me Kind regards Ron G (patient)

Great staff and I receive great care. The amount of disgusting abuse the staff recurve from the so called patients who want there own way is beyond belief. The ones giving poor reviews are those that complain yet probably don't get out for any job each day! Just wanting drugs and to be signed off. They drag the NHS down and are complaining. Laughable Really

I find it very hard to get a appointment and most of the time I do not bother. I have been a few times in the past but feel that I just get fobbed off with any issues I may have. I feel its all about cutting cost, no matter what health problems you may have. One GP wanted to put me on heart medication after only seeing him once, because me blood pressure was higher than normal. My son needs to see a doctor regarding his low weight, I would like him to see a dietician, but I know we would just be fobbed off.

I have to change Gp because of what a doctor did to me and my little boy who is 3years old. The doctor was very rude . Shouting on top of his voice on my boy who is just 3years old .
