I will never understand why instruction is given to take medicine which is hard to find difficult to get a hold of frowned upon out of stock etc.etc. or to try and be organised and be refused by a parmacist. I don’t know why basically you tell people to take something then won’t give them it or give them into trouble like an errant child.
During this stressful time I found the staff at the practice very helpful and professional
I had reason to seek advice on a medical concern. The GP returned my call promptly. She was receptive and advised me appropriately. I felt I was well informed and involved in decision making. Thank you.
Speaķing personally i could not fault any aspect of my expierience at Ardoch medical centre, in fact i cannot praise it and the staff any higher.
Prescribed a treatment for almost entire lifetime by this practice and their predecessors only to find an obstructive service more than once over the years. There changes to the amount prescribed monthly without any notification. Strange when their original and all other recommendations are that a stock should be kept up in case of attack. Unbelievably it is easier and much quicker to order online when the items can ordered and delivered in much less time than it takes to deal with the surgery and pharmacists who can be quite confrontational at times. The length of time it takes to be seen to tell them that everything is ok and wish to continue with the standard recommendations can take ages to be seen involving time off work, loss of earnings etc. Others I know have had occasion to complain about the shambles with no redress. Finally whoever thought it was an idea to relocate the practice to the top of a sheer slippy slope should try bringing an infirm elderly relative to be seen. If that doesn't finish them off maybe the doctors will!!
