Usually better than it was a few years ago, but this time it was difficult to get much in the next week or two, which can be hard to arrange with work. Totally understand the pressures right now though.

We have been so blessed to be patients at this practice for the past sixteen years… the staff is always tremendously helpful, particularly the reception staff.

Suggested improvements
We have had one doctor (who is not a member of permanent staff) who was very un-thorough and sent us a text with an incorrect diagnosis based on a careless review of bloodtest results, which was very odd. Other than that instance, we have had great experiences.

It’s not difficult to get an appointment in itself, it’s just that there is no availability haha

Suggested improvements
The team is very friendly and helpful. What needs to improve is the whole healthcare system in the UK. I’m very impressed with how everyone is holding the fort despite working sometimes in terrible conditions. Things we could do better? Get a new prime minister hahaha

My appointment today was amazing. I have health anxiety and the GP couldn’t have been better about it. It’s really helped me be able to be more engaged in my health. I wish there were more appointments available in general but the system this GP has I think works with that as best as it can. I was fine to call at 8am today and got a 9am appointment which I feel really fortunate for. The GP I saw was the best I’ve ever seen, recommended a follow up blood test and physio. Reception were also lovely and the building is nice and always kept clean.

Suggested improvements
More appointments would be good although I think that’s a systemic issue this surgery handle as best as they can. I wouldn’t change anything else. Amwell really exceed my expectations.

Although it can be a wait on the line which of course is normal, I’ve always found that when I do get through on the phone the receptionist is extremely helpful. In the past I haven’t always had the best experience but recently the last few months there has definitely been a change. They do their best to get me an appointment or advise me on how to go about it. I also appreciate that I’m always given the option of a telephone consultation or face-to-face, especially because I have a disability that affects my mobility, it’s good to know that I can still get an appointment even if I physically can’t make it in. Lisa has especially been helpful and kind whenever I get through to her.
