I was told by dr.to comeback in 2 weeks and also book a blood test.I got a blood test appointment a week later but was told to call in following week as they only do 1 week in advance!so I phoned following week then told call tomorrow as it must be exactly a week.On tel.next day I was told no appointments as they were full up.I have been trying for 6 weeks with the same story.This practise has adequate Dr.to run a normal practise like all other practises.I have a mathematical problem that needs medical help and this practise has failed not only for me but the people of Alva who also experience getting to see a Dr.from this practise.

Remove the only 1week in advance and start seeing more patients who can book 2-3 weeks in advance.

Waited a week to get medication because original prescription could not be filled, when i did get the medication it had no effect at all. I called reception for a new appointment to see what else could be done for breathing issues and was told nothing available for a week and could i call back then, totally shocked this was the best that could be done i appreciate all the work of doctors and NHS but i dont call anyone unless i really need some help and am worried and to be told wait a week with then lets see if we can fit you in is just basically outrageous

prioritise appointments ask a few more questions to establish serious of patients condition and concern around it have some emergency appointments for cases that cant wait a week

It's your average doctors, nothing special but nothing wrong with it either. Only people to leave reviews have been bitter and don't leave a good idea. Obviously had their problems but they're reviews were a bit OTT

Been waiting for the next available agent for over 25 minutes. Dont think my call is important even though for the last 25 minutes I keep getting told your call is very important to us, please wait for the next available agent. Never mind re sick child and they wonder why we arrive at A&E.

Have tried calling their phone number for three hours solid now! no answer. Disgusting for a GP Practice, claiming every penny from the government for having patients on there list whilst failing to provide the most basic of services. Employing someone to answer the phone might be a good start but from reading the other reviews there might very well be little point to you answering if you apparently can't provide a service fit for purpose. Changing practice today and hope others follow. It may be a little more inconvenient for me but better than nothing, as I am getting now from this pretence of a 'doctors' practice.
