Okay, so this is difficult! I have been with this surgery since I was born and I don't want to knock it. I suppose on the whole it's like all surgeries nowadays? Busy! And sometimes they struggle. The doctors and nurses here, most of the time are great. The receptionists? Well, some of them are friendly, some of them sound stressed and some are downright rude and obnoxious. I work in a busy office, I get stressed but I NEVER speak to my customers the way some of them speak to patients. Also, there's now a recorded message from Dr Allen saying the receptionists are allowed to ask what's wrong. I don't like this, I think I'd just prefer to tell my GP thankyou. I do understand the reason behind it however they aren't medical professionals and how are they supposed to know how best to prioritise these appointments (which is what the message says they need to know for). Anyhow, to cut a long story short. It's a lovely clean surgery, with lovely staff apart from the odd couple of receptionists that could do with some lessons in good manners. I'm staying put as I think I'd be hard pushed to find somewhere better.
