Very good for sleep, works up to 4 weeks on a single dose, anytime after a month and you'll gain a tolerance need to increase the dose. you'll probably get withdrawel symptoms on stopping (if taken for more than 2/3 weeks on the trot). Imho 10x better than zolpidem

I’ve been taking Zopiclone 3.75mg for some time now due to my Tinitus. I only take one every 3-4 days just to help me get a good nights sleep and of course fall asleep which anyone will tell you if you suffer from Tinitus, night time is the worst time when it’s quiet. I do get the metallic taste in my mouth the next morning but it’s not that bad and has gone by about 2pm ish. I do not feel sluggish either when I wake. Also, when I get a good nights sleep my tinnitus is generally better the following day. By keeping this regime my body is not getting used to it so I don’t have to increase the dose. I do understand that it can be addictive so this is how I keep it under control hence why my GP will give me 10 every two months.

I have frequent bouts of insomnia, I find that a minimum dose gets me to sleep all night and then do not need to use for say 1-2 weeks. It appears to me personally that it helps me get back to a sleep pattern.

If you are like me, you will not give a hoot about side effects and just want a solid nights sleep - yes, for the most part this stuff works at 7.5mg, but you have to be tired before you take it and go straight to bed, in total darkness with ear plugs if possible. I got around 5 to 6 hours sleep on Zopiclone, it was nice sleep too, i do not remember dreaming. I had a awful metallic taste in my mouth the day after, but no grog or extended sleepiness, it is not an addictive chemical despite other reviews, nor does it interfear with sedating drugs like morphine and Benzo's i believe. I took zopiclone safely along with my regular OxyContin at night with zero problems. I do recommend this drug 1 month on and 1 month off.
