I was given this by infusion every 3 weeks for a year . My side effects were tolerable but got worse in the last few months, namely bad cough caused by drip from sinuses, also drop in heart function, discoloured breaking nails.
After the year I had a Ct scan, and it was found that the cancer had returned in my lymph nodes and breast area. It is not known exactly when it stopped working, but may have held it back for several months from starting to grow.
