Care needs to be taken with paracetamol. As it appears in other medications .Always consult a doctor or pharmacist if you have to take paracetamol for any length of time . It is readily available and a safe and effective drug if taken as directed. However, if symptoms are not relieved or worsen..consult a Doctor or Pharmacist right away.

I use it very sparingly and it is more effective like that anyway as there is the potential to damage kidneys and liver if taken long term. I try to use once or twice a week when pain is unbearable. I am allergic to all other pain killers so is my only option.

Helps with headaches and migraines if taken straight away ashen feeling a headache coming on if pain is so bad like a migraine building up I take 3 x 500g as instructed by GP have a hot drink and go to bed to sleep or lay down to rest. Then take 2x500g every 4 hours this helps to stop the migraine getting much worse. IF I DONT ACT FAST the migraine gets much worse and I am unable to put one foot in front of the other without severe pain in the head and eyes. I had been taking Paracetomol for years for aches and pains in my joints and for muscle pain and when I feel flu like symptoms I go to bed to rest with a hot water bottle.
