Share review of York Hospital

My mum has terminal cancer (in her salivary gland) she lives in pocklington but from York. She was sent to York by her gp with suspected sepsis on the Friday morning. She sat there for over 10 hours and was seen once with only a blood test.
They decided to leave as it was getting painful for my mum. They went back the Saturday morning and sat there from 10 am until I got there at 6 pm and she still hadn't been seen. Finally seen at midnight Saturday. The doctor and nurse asked her to stay but she didn't want to as she had enough of just sitting around. They got me into the the room to talk her into it as she would get a scan in the morning. She finally agreed. I left at 2am. Got a call at 10.30 the next morning. From my dad. I went back and my mum was dumped in a room in a crappy chair. No food barely anything to drink. They had refused to do the scan and left her. She was in a right state. She was finally seen at 3.30 and the consultant was argumentative and horrible. He said we were lying that she should have had a scan. So the doctor the night before was lying
' who knows. I told him to sort
discharge papers out as we had enough. He was god awful and didn't do it so I took my mum out side and stood by the desk and made them do it there. My mum was in so much pain and had the most god awful experience here I wouldn't wish on anyone one. They lie and leave you. And to leave a terminal cancer patient like that for 3 day is disgraceful. Thank god for castle hills where she is now. York is by far the worst hospital we've had to deal with. Including my birth experience and my kids at a&e. If I could rate it -50 I would
