Dear Mrs Enida Cipa and Ms Surili Patel, Subject: BIG THANKS & BEST WISHES Just few lines to thank ‘Boileau Road Surgery’ right from the top (Dr Das) down to all members of the team in looking after our family in the years gone by and now only myself and my wife; with special mention of Dr Rebecca Barber, (Dr Miraj Patel and others); and Mrs Sarah Holroyd. Overall the experience was quite good

I’m not happy discussing my health issues with the receptionist either over the phone or in the reception as everyone in reception can hear. I believe these issues should only be discussed with the doctor in private and not in an open forum in reception.

The receptionist made a mistake, apologised and managed to guarantee an appointment with the Duty Dr. But before realising that had made a mistake in not informing me about a change on the schedule, aproached the situation using a rude tone of voice and not opening space (and opportunity) to listen to my explanation. Not everyone is always right and this one being a recurrent approach, this is an attitude that should be open to improvement (or to change)!

Suggested improvements
The receptionist should provide patients the time to explain their needs/concerns/questions before making a judgement, cutting one's word and jump to conclusions.
