My wife regrettably was diagnosed with stage 1 cancer of the breast ,I am writing this on behalf of my wife Christine -Professor Zoe Winters met us both at Sir William Rous unit and explained in great calming detail the procedure Christine would have to go through realising my wife was nervous she took the time to reassure Christine ,on the day of the surgery she popped in to say a quick hello in her hectic schedule and the day after when I was taking Christine home we met her in the corridor and she said hello Christine all these patients and she knew her name and told her she had organised her pain killers .Today fortunately we met Professor Zoe Winters and again in great calming detail explained the procedure and after care ,the pathology results had not come through during the appointment which was disappointing as Professor Zoe Winters had been chasing these up ,fortunately just as appointment was coming to an end she tried one more time and they had come through and all clear !!! We both cannot thank Professor Zoe Winters enough for her expertise ,kindness and care Thank you from Christine and Michael Browne
