I was treated for throat cancer at the Churchill under Mr Winter’s clinic in May-July 2018 and in subsequent examinations and assessments until September 2023. My experience throughout the whole set of treatments was extremely good. I was treated well by all of the staff. From the first diagnosis to finally being declared clear of cancer every procedure was carefully explained and the treatment plan followed through as per the plan. I never felt anything other than cared for. I really don’t think I could have received better care or treatment. I have often said to friends a family that this experience though difficult at times is an example of the health service at its best. I was happy to pass on my thanks to Prof. Winter personally.
