I had done my research before approaching Prof Senapati at the Alex Hospital in Cheadle to discuss WLS. All the reviews I read were positive and spoke of Prof Senapati's professionalism and satisfaction with outcomes. At my initial consultation with Prof Senapati I was not disappointed; he took time to listen to my questions and guided/advised me toward the appropriate surgery to meet my needs. I felt very confident and booked a surgery date there and then. At my pre-op appointments, I was introduced to the team who would be my pre and post op support network. Care was taken to discuss my past medical and medication history. I felt very reassured. My surgery went extremely well with no complications. Pain relief was offered without me having to ask. The Nursing staffs were helpful and caring, nothing was too much trouble. Prof Senapati and the anaesthetist called to the ward to check my progress post op. The morning after my surgery Prof Senapati again called to the ward to see how I was, before arranging my discharge home by lunch time that day. Within 24 hours of discharge I received a follow up phone call at home from the Bariatric Nurse to see how I was and if I had any questions. I was reminded again that I could call the team for support anytime. I returned to my full time role 1 week after surgery as I felt so well. I began exercising two weeks post-surgery. I am seeing the benefits of the surgery with each day that passes, I am excited to continue my weight loss journey with the knowledge that I am fully supported for the next 2 years with Prof Senapati and his team. It took me 3 years to save for surgery and I can only say it was money well spent. I am delighted with the service and care I received from Professor Senapati and his team and will always be grateful to them all. Thank you.

Professor Senapati explained from the off how and what procedures was best for me, but also listened to my requirements and handled it in a very polite and professional way and expalined everything i needed to know.

I had the gastric sleeve procedure on the 22nd August by Professor Senapati. I chose him as my surgeon after reading reviews online and on a gastric sleeve facebook group that highly recommended him. He is an incredible surgeon and very caring. After my procedure he often came in to check on me in my hospital room and held my hand when I was feeling a bit emotional after I came round from the procedure. He wanted to make sure I was as comfortable as possible and I couldn't have asked for better care from him and his amazing team. I have lost over 6 stone gone from size 18-20 and I am now in size 8 clothing which I just can't believe. It has been life changing for me and I feel like a new person and I am so much happier in my own skin. Thank you so much Prof. Siba Senapati - I am forever grateful to you.

Professor Senapati is a brilliant Surgeon who I trust completely his skills are second to none, having Professor Senapati Operate on me twice 2 different Operations I would definitely have him again no question.
