Thorough, Professional but spent time ensuring that I totally understood. Was realistic with the new knee's capabilities and like his analogy that its like a new car tyre - if you abuse it it wears out quicker! . Wish I’d had it done sooner!

"I have been thinking about this review for a while I am not the best person getting down what I want to say. Prof Lee did a small operation on my hand which has honestly changed my life. It was so reassuring that he instantly knew the problem and the solution. He made every effort to get my op done quickly he was informative, supportive, knowledgable, approachable, friendly and even called me during this pandemic to check I was ok. Prof showed complete knowledge of my injury and was clear in communication as to the different treatment paths that were available. We explored those options and made the decision jointly as to which path to take. I had an operation of which I felt completely confident in the team that assisted Prof Lee and that confidence has proven to totally justified. Since the operation I have been supported very well in what has been a challenging time for all due to Covid 19.

He and his team performed the operation on my shoulder and at every stage I felt confident in their abilities. Professor Lee was fantastic. I went to see him over some ACL concerns as I have had surgery on my knee prior and wanted to know what the pain was that I was feeling and why. He was welcoming from the get go, listened while I went through the pains and gave a bit of background on the surgeries and then gave really great information about why I was feeling the pain and how to decrease it for the future. He then proceeded to do a stress test with my knee and try to indicate where the source of pain was exactly coming from. He then reassured me that the surgery was expertly completed and I shouldn't have any worries about the stability of my knee. He also recommended to me to a great physiotherapist where I further eliminated the pain I was feeling. Professor Lee was brilliant, nice, and very reassuring throughout our whole experience. Highly recommend seeing him if you have any problems where you will be waiting a while with the NHS or especially with knee related problems/injuries.
