What can I say about Prof Barua? He was the perfect consultant for me, after complications after a haemorrhoidectomy procedure with bladder retention I saw Prof Barua who then laid out all the possible eventuality’s of what could be in front of me. I have now been discharged with a good prognosis thanks to his brilliant care and advice. I would highly recommend him for any issues in that area.

This Specialist needs to to be a bit more understanding of what the patient is trying to explain the reason for 'seeing' him. He snapped at me 'Stop doing Self Diagnosis', when I mentioned the word Kidneys, (the area where I had pain)! He then said 'I have been doing this job for 30 years and I don't want you telling me my Job!!! I was very shocked at that outburst. A little later I mentioned a stone found in my gall bladder from an earlier test and immediately he snapped, 'That's nothing to do with me, go and see your G.P. about that!! Again me very shocked at being spoken to like that. Now to be fair he did then carry out a thorough check on my Prostate condition and he was more constructive in our final conversations.

This man is fantastic... he performed a vasectomy reversal on my husband, within 2 months I was pregnant. This was 10 years ago and we now have 2 little girls. I unfortunately lost another child. He is a legend!!!
