Dear Alex, Thank you so much for taking me on as a patient from RTMS all the way to ECT. You have been my rock. You have guided me from treatment to treatment and supported my wishes as a patient as well. I hope you know you are an excellent psychiatrist and one that I would recommend to any of my mentally ill friends and family! Thank you again for everything you have done for me. I hope I can return to you for RTMS of ketamine if it seems appropriate.

It’s hard to verbalise just how very grateful I am to this man. I’ve been blessed to have him as my psychiatrist for 15+ years and I can honestly say, without being dramatic, I do not think I’d be here without him. I have complex bipolar 1, rapid cycling with mixed state episodes and without his knowledge about my personal symptoms, and expertise on bipolar and the different treatments, I wonder were I might be. I find his collaborative approach to my care empowering and feel his continued discussions with me about new treatments truly give me hope for what is a debilitating illness. I will always be grateful to you, and all the incredible team at the Treatment Centre. Thank you doesn’t really begin to cover it for you have undoubtedly saved my life, not once or twice, but countless times.

I really enjoyed the teaching and found it extremely helpful. The use of diagrams was extremely helpful to getting the hang of concepts. Learning the neuro-physiology of depression has really cemented my inderstanding. Thank you very much!

Very informed and knowledgeable. Appreciate that he took the time to teach us in-depth. Explained concepts in a clear and concise manner with visual aids which was particularly helpful.
