To all that have been involved with my care and treatment. Today when I arrived home from my treatment I looked at my room and saw how clearly it was the room of a depressed person and how desperate I was to change it. Depression has slowly taken everything from me and those close to me have had to watch it happen.
Your treatment has given me enough to start to rebuild a life from the ashes I had been left with after my breakdown in November 2015. So often in the NHS I have been made to feel to blame and that my symptoms were personal weakness and failures. All of you at the Treatment Centre do truly understand sufferers of depression and I immediately knew I was in good hands. British Cycling has it's "Medal Factory" and I cope with all the progress that continues to go on. Berrywood will have a "Miracle Factory" for so many sufferers of this debilitating condition.
