Professor Wilson and his team are absolutely top. I had arthroscopic procedures done on both knees within two months and Prof. Wilson did an outstanding job. I felt very confident straight from the consultation and I had no pain nor any issues after the procedures. Everything was well prepared and explained in advance. Prof. Wilson is an outstanding surgeon that I can highly recommend to anyone.

I could not recommend Professor Wilson and his team highly enough. I had three operations under his care over the course of 2022. One was a lateral meniscus repair of my left knee, while the other two were high tibial closing wedge osteotomies on both knees. The quality of care I was given was excellent. Professor Wilson is exceptionally good at communicating to you in a clear and informative manner. Unlike other healthcare providers I have seen, it was very much a two way process, whereby Professor Wilson would listen to your thoughts and concerns, while still offering his recommendations for the best course of action. If you do require any sort of knee surgery, Professor Wilson will not let you down.

Professor Adrian Wilson is a brilliant surgeon with an outstanding knowledge of the biomechanics of the knee and who has given our son an incredibly stable knee and the opportunity to continue with the sports he loves. Prof Wilson is careful to explain all of the information regarding the surgery and has been very attentive with post surgery care. We are very thankful we were able to take advantage of his revolutionary techniques for treating sports injuries.

Professor Wilson is an outstanding surgeon. He listened to my concerns and although in my case just a meniscus surgery, he explained all the outcomes of an arthroscopy, what could follow and what realistically can be improved. Surgery went perfect! Thank you!

A very positive experience from start to finish. Professor Wilson is extremely knowledgeable and I felt in safe hands when presenting my knee problem to him. Despite being relatively minor, in the scheme of knee issues, he took my concerns very seriously and having reviewed all the diagnostic data, was most reassuring. I particularly appreciated the time he spent discussing the different options open to me (both now and in the future) so that I felt any decisions made were on a well-informed basis. I would thoroughly recommend Prof Wilson for anyone with knee concerns.

Profile

Globally recognised Knee and Sports Injury Specialist practicing privately in London, Berkshire and Hampshire.

Professor Wilson specialises in all aspects of soft tissue and reconstructive knee surgery and has pioneered techniques to improve treatment for sports injuries to the knee.

He has developed a number of evidence-based techniques which include new, minimally invasive procedures for knee realignment (osteotomy) and anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) repair. This includes a minimally invasive technique to treat anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries in children that has a fast recovery time and excellent long-term results.

Most recently, he has introduced Adipose Tissue Therapy, often used alongside other surgery, which harnesses the body’s own natural repair cells to help reduce pain and increase activity levels for patients with arthritis.

Professor Wilson regularly performs live surgery at major meetings and runs surgical training events including The Knee Osteotomy Masterclass, a two-day workshop held annually.
