Dr Morrell was very attentive, asked a lot of question and explained his thoughts/plan really well. He had spent time to review my note prior to our conversation, which i highly appreciated. Not a lot of doctors do this and I find it extremely tiresome and annoying having to repeat the same story. He requested additional test, the results of which we agreed to be communicated over the phone as he understood the difficulties for me to attend hospital appointments at current frequency. I have only spoken to him once so I cannot comment if my positive impressions are statistically valid, but purely based on gut feeling, i can say that Dr Morrell appear to care beyond the physical condition that the appointment was directly set for

I have been a patient of Prof Morrell since 2001. He has brought my asthma/COPD under control and it is now fairly stable. Dr. Morrell takes time with me and isn't rushed and the big thing for me, is that he listens to what I have to say and is always encouraging. Overall I think he is an outstanding physician which is why I rate hime 5 stars in all the categories.

Although Dr Morrell had only good news to impart (that there is nothing wrong with my lungs), he still took the time to explain what he and the other medical staff had been looking for. Given the pressure on doctors' time, he could easily have rushed me out of the room. So, it was nice that he took the time to make sure that I was happy about and understood the outcome. In the circumstances, Dr Morrell could not have done any more to improve the care that I received. Thank you.

I see Dr Morrell on a yearly basis because of my condition but recently more often because I was a little poorly. He was and always is very helpful checking me out and putting my mind at rest and only today now that I am recovering going back to yearly visits but with the assurance that I can get in touch whenever I feel I am getting unwell again. I have a rare condition and Dr. Morrell always listens to me and will check out anything I might be concerned about. I have never known him to dismiss anything I say. He has a very gentle manner is polite and will ask after my family who also suffer with this condition. I feel very safe under his care, My husband also thinks he is a very good Doctor.

Dr Morrell made me feel really comfortable. He was very relaxed and informal and had a very good sense of humour. He obviously has social as well as scientific intelligence, and I could have quite happily gone for a pint with him.
