I had my operation on 6th October with Professor Rogers and it has truly changed my life. After 10 years of constant pain and restricted movement I now wake up each day pain-free and I can enjoy my life again. I am so happy with my results and can hardly stop smiling! He explained everything that would be happening before I was taken into the operating theatre. He is very reassuring and answered any questions I asked so I felt safe going in for surgery and he spoke to me again afterwards to let me know all had gone well. I saw him after almost six weeks for my follow-up and he answered lots more questions I had thought of in the meantime with lots of patience and reassurance.

Professor Rogers understood exactly what my problem was to start with. His diagnosis was quick and accurate, and he was very clear with what he thought would work and what wouldn't. I went with his suggestion of a cortisone injection which was done efficiently. I saw him today for the follow up appointment (8 weeks post) and he showed me further scans with slightly more information than he had to start. His treatment plan worked and I am very happy with the outcome. He has given me advice about how to future-proof my body. In addition, His manner is approachable, and he entertained all the questions I had. He is quick, concise and clearly knows what he's doing! I would 100% go back to him if I had any issues with my knees or hips. Sadly for me he doesn't do backs, but he gave me additional information about seeing a physiotherapist about an unrelated back matter, which I appreciate very much. I think he's great.

I met Professor Rogers back in about 2017 when I started experiencing pains in my right hip. He advised me through the years finally leading up to my hip replacement surgery in October 2023, and subsequently my six week follow up consultation. He is a very approachable and nice gentleman and makes you feel very much at ease in any situation.

Prof Rogers explained my options clearly and calmly, explaining that ultimately I will need a total knee replacement and that I was an ideal candidate to have it done before it became a greater problem. Any questions I asked after the initial consultation were dealt with promptly by his secretary who was extremely helpful. I didn't have too long a wait for the op which was carried out at the Sussex Orthopaedic Centre in Haywards Heath. The care I received there was first class, the nurses were caring and attentive. I cannot see how there could be greater care.
