I have been under Alasdair's care for about sixteen years now whilst taking part in the Campath drug trial for MS. When deciding whether or not to take part in the trial, he gave me all the facts, including potential side effects which enabled me to make an informed choice before deciding to take part. He is always genuinely interested in listening to any problems I have, he always explains everything in great detail. His passion for his subject and his care for his patients is second to none. It is always an absolute pleasure to see him and I consider myself very lucky to have been treated by him and his fantastic team

When you see Dr Coles you know you are seeing a top expert (MS expert). I have been under Dr Coles's care for over ten years. I have found him to be first class. At my annual appointment he spends the time to find our how you have ever been and runs through the results of tests e.g. MRIs. I can'tell rate him high enough.

I've been seeing Alasdair for over ten years, he is appropriately cheerful, very friendly, personable and therefore easy to talk to. He makes a lot of effort to explain things in a way that I can understand, and listens to everything I say. I can honestly say that I feel very much like I am visiting a caring friend whenever I see Alasdair. Alasdair is clearly top of his field, and I have nothing but nice things to say about him. The level of support I have had over the years with Alasdair is amazing, I have been vey fortunate to been able to have had Alasdair as my Neurologist

I have been in Alasdair's care for 13 years, and in that time he has taken a great interest in my care and health. He is a clinical expert, a world-class expert in Neurology as Multiple Sclerosis, and I credit him (and his team) for the quality of life I experience day-to-day. His manner is very friendly, is careful with explanations of anything complicated from a medical point of view, and has agreat ability to take the time to find out more about his patients and their life and then ask about it at the next appointment. I have also had the pleasure of bumping into Alasdair outside of clinical appointments where he has taken the time to chat, proving the level care he provides for each patient. I would (and have) recommended Alasdair to other patients.

Obnoxious person. More academic than clinical. Spoke down to both daughter and myself. Said I will ask the questions you just answer them. Said to my daughter you just sit there and say nothing when she got up to help me. At the end said that is your time up. Then wrote a load of lies in letter to GP. Should not be allowed to see patients.
