I went to see Ms Emma in a panic as it had been 16 years since my last mammogram and as I suffer with health anxiety I was highly stressed. Ms Emma calmed me down and listened to my concerns with patience and understanding. When my results came back I was so relieved as I was convinced something would be wrong as I had left it so long for my mammogram as well as my mother recently being diagnosed with breast cancer for the second time. I recently had the pleasure of Ms de Sousa carrying out my breast reduction surgery. From my first consultation, Ms de Sousa was very friendly and empathetic. She explained everything in great detail and gave plenty of opportunity to ask any questions. The key thing for me was the examination process. Despite my insecurities and self-consciousness of my appearance, Ms de Sousa made me feel at complete ease. As much as there was no pressure and an advisory period of consideration about the surgery, I left that consultation knowing I would be going ahead and that I had made the right decision in choosing Ms de Sousa. The whole process was fantastic and professional, from Ms de Sousa, her admin team, theatre team and the after care from the breast nurse team. The surgery was a success and I was pleasantly surprised at the lack of pain upon waking from the surgery and the healing process that followed. I am just 6 months post surgery and am extremely pleased with my results. The surgery has genuinely changed my life for the better. I am very grateful I found Ms de Sousa and would not hesitate to recommend her services to others.

I saw Ms De Sousa recently for a suspected lump in my breast. She was warm, friendly and really put me at ease. She was very clear with her questions and initial thoughts. She also told me what she she was writing in the form she was filling out for further tests, including the meaning of certain codes she was using. I understood exactly what was going on at all times. Thankfully everything was fine and I required no further treatment but Ms De Sousa was really understanding about why I was concerned in the first place and reassured me that she was happy to deal with any concerns in the future.

I took my 16 year old daughter to see Ms de Sousa after she had found a lump in her breast and the waiting for an NHS appointment had been worrying long. Ms de Sousa put us both at ease, she had a lovely way with both myself and my very nervous and self conscious teenage daughter, professional but warm, friendly and kind, I would highly recommend her.
