Avril provided excellent care as the on call registrar during my wife's labour and subsequent emergency cesarean. Considering it was Christmas eve and she was strteched between A&E and the maternity unit she kept us informed and more importantly left us reassured during what was a very stressful and worrying time. She was friendly and approachable at all times...exactly what I wanted from the medical staff at the time.
