Ms Chang is a Consultant General Surgeon with specialist interest in Laparoscopic Surgery, particularly dealing with Hernia, Hiatus Hernia and Gallbladder problems. She was trained and educated in Australia and then completed senior surgical training in Leeds and London before being appointed to King's College Hospital in 2006. She holds full membership of the Association of Upper Gastrointestinal Surgeons, the Association of Laparoscopic Surgeons of Great Britain and Ireland, the British Obesity and Metabolic Surgery Society and the European Hernia Society. She was previously the Surgical Tutor for Minimally Invasive Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons (England) and Training Programme Director for General Surgery in South East London. Ms Chang’s interests are in all aspects of Gallstone Diseases and the surgical treatment of hernias. She specialises in performing laparoscopic surgery for all operations which she undertakes. She performs all types of hernia repairs including laparoscopic (keyhole) repairs where appropriate.
